Seminario Interuniversitario de Investigación en Ciencias Matemáticas

Welcome to the webpage of the SIDIM Permanent Committee!

The 38th SIDIM will be held in person on February 24 and 25, 2023, at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. As usual, the SIDIM will include several plenary talks, multiple parallel sessions, and posters on research in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Mathematics, Mathematical Education and related areas.

The SIDIM 2023 activities will include the following:

  • Invited Presentations.
  • Minisymposia and thematic sessions on special topics.
  • Workshops.
  • Contributed talks.
  • Poster sessions for faculty and students.
  • Exhibition booths for universities and REU student recruiters, book publishers and computer companies.

During the week before the SIDIM, the Department of Mathematics of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez will be holding several colloquiums by the invited speakers. These talks are in person and will be accesible via Zoom as well. Please visit UPRM Colloquiums for dates, times and Zoom links.
